Madam Shahnaz Wazir Ali – A Legacy of Impact
Ms. Shahnaz Wazir Ali (Sitara-e-Imtiaz) has dedicated over 40 years to education, social development, and policy reform. She has twice been elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan and has served as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Sectors.
A passionate advocate for women’s rights and education, she has been a Trustee of Education Trust Nasra School since 1965 and has led SZABIST University as its President for over a decade. Her contributions extend across multiple fields, including education reform, public health, family planning, population welfare, and social protection. She has also served as a Senior Education Specialist at the World Bank and held the position of Minister of State for Education, Government of Pakistan. This global recognition is a testament to her lifelong commitment to positive change and empowerment.
