Established in 1949 and registered in 1955 under the Trust's Act 1882, the Education Trust Nasra Schools (ETNS), a not-for-profit school came into existence with the purpose of providing high quality English medium education to students belonging to low and middle income families. ETNS started from two rooms in the home of its founder- the late educationist Ms. Nasra Wazir Ali, recipient of the prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz, and since has grown to five large purpose built campuses in Saddar, Malir, Korangi, Super Highway and North Karachi. Today, ETNS is providing affordable, quality English medium education that follows the Pakistani curriculum, to more than 11,000 boys and girls from religiously diverse, multi lingual and multi ethnic backgrounds in some of the most densely populated areas of Karachi.

Each campus of ETNS is fully equipped with modern facilities- computer and science labs, to ensure that our students are provided with a nurturing environment that will help them achieve their maximum academic and personal potential.

Extracurricular activities are also at the core of the ETNS' model. ETNS holds the largest table tennis tournament in Karachi, 'The Wazir Ali Memorial Table Tennis Tournament for Boys' and Girls' - an annual event initiated in 1993 that hosts more than 100 teams across schools in Karachi.

The Zafar Ullah Khan Malik Memorial Cricket Tournament for Boys' and Girls' is also an annual event that began in 2013. It caters to all five branches of ETNS in Karachi. We encourage all sports as we believe it instills a sense of teamwork, sportsmanship and competitive spirit in our students.

ETNS also holds the Nasra Model United Nations "NASRAMUN", an event replicating the United Nations. Different committees are formed by the students who discuss topics ranging from human trafficking to World War III. The committees encourage a healthy debate till they reach a unified decision to pass a resolution. The purpose of NASRAMUN is to prepare students to be leaders of tomorrow inculcating in them a sense of diplomacy, negotiation and leadership. The event attracts 600 to 700 students every year from our campuses as well as from other schools across Karachi.

Some of our notable alumni include Mr. Mushir Alam (Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan), Mr. Sarmat Usmani (former Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan), Mr. Wasim Bari (Wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman for the Pakistan Cricket team 1967-1984) and Mr. Humayun Saeed (Television personality) among many others. Today, our alumni are spread over the globe- in different professions that range from doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers and IT specialists to name a few.

We also offer 10% of our enrolled students free ships annually. Our highly educated teachers ensure that the quality of education is high and this is reflected in the results of our students. Our students have over a 90% pass rate and achieve top positions in the Karachi Board Exams, with a significant portion proceeding onwards to intermediate, professional colleges and universities.
